2024 Summer Musical Workshop
Enrollment opens Tuesday April 2, 2024!
In this three-week musical theater production of Jack & The Beanstalk, we will dive into all aspects of putting on a musical. The cast will sing, dance, act, and create the show with set design and costume design! Everyone who signs up for this class will get a part. This class will be held at Academy of Sound.

Our Summer Musical Workshop runs from June 10, 2024 through June 28, 2024. Rehearsals are Monday-Friday at 9:00 AM -11:00 AM. We invite all friends and family to our final performance on Saturday, June 29th, 2024 at 10:00 AM. PLEASE NOTE: Students should still plan to arrive at 9:00AM on Saturday, June 29th to prepare for the 10:00AM performance.

Enrollment opens on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 and will be through Oregon Community Education. Enrollment must go through Oregon Community Education, you will not be able to sign up though your Academy of Sound parent portal.
Ages 6-11. Class Fee: $88.
What Is Our Summer Musical Workshop?
Our Summer Musical program takes place in June, usually for a very short, but very fun three weeks. We have reahearsal Monday-Friday and put the whole show together for friends and family to come see and enjoy at the end. This program is beginner friendly. Any student that signs up for the workshop will be in the show. Roles are determined after the first day of rehearsal where we do auditions for all the parts your student might want to be.

We will learn all of the songs, dances and lines in rehearsal. Actors must be prepared to practice at home. We only have a few weeks to put the show together after all! Students will also help design their costumes and create parts of the set!
