Academy of Sound continues to bring music to the community
Hello Academy of Sound families!
As the holidays approach, we are again planning an online/virtual recital, to celebrate all our learning and have some fun.
Please visit our virtual recital registration page to sign up, and learn how to send in your video by December 14th.
The recital will go live on December 21st at 7:00 PM. You can also watch any time after that.
Make Music Oregon
Make Music Oregon is a community music-making event for everyone!
We will be celebrating music education and lifelong music making by presenting a March "Music In Our Schools Month" Virtual Community Concert.
The concert will be broadcast by OCA Media, and will include OSD students, families, alumni, educators, and Oregon area community members.
Recordings due February 28, 2021.

Brennan studies with Ms. Ally, who says:
"Brennan is progressing wonderfully through his books. He graduated out of his primer books in the summer and now is well into his Level 1 books.
Brennan's diligent attitude in his lesson and his practice habits will surely get him into the Level 2 books before we know it!."

Important dates to remember
Academy of sound will continue to operate virtually (online lessons only) throughout 2020
November 23 through 27: CLOSED. No lessons all week.
Monday, December 14: Winter recital videos due. Recital info & registration here.
Monday, December 21: Winter recital (online/virtual) premiere.
December 21, 2020 through January 3, 2021: CLOSED. No lessons.
Monday January 4, 2021: Lessons resume.
January 11-15: Conference lessons.
