Meet Our New Teacher + A Partnership with Mariposa!

Academy of Sound partners with Mariposa Learning Center

In this blog post, we announce a new partnership with Mariposa Learning Center in Fitchburg, introduce a new instructor, Ms. Esther, and highlight upcoming events including group classes, spring break, and the spring recital.

Meanwhile, be sure to keep healthy by WASHING YOUR HANDS!

We are thrilled to announce that Academy of Sound and Mariposa Learning Center have teamed up to offer on-site private music lessons to Mariposa students Monday-Friday beginning June 15, 2020!

Mariposa is nationally accredited bilingual (Spanish/English) child care center with a focus on the arts, whose much-anticipated Fitchburg location will open this summer. They offer high-quality care for children ages four weeks through ten years old, and will be conveniently located adjacent to the new Oregon School District's Forest Edge Elementary School, at 4870 Brassica Rd. Fitchburg WI.

This partnership will allow Mariposa students to attend their music lessons during the course of their normal learning day. We’re excited to provide this opportunity as a way to further enrich the experience of the Mariposa learners, and as a convenience to their families. We'll also provide digital piano stations for student practice, and rental instruments for those needing it.
