Music Explorers
By the end of Music Explorers, your child will be ready to start private lessons or their first instrument with confidence.​
Music Explorers
June 17 - August 22, 2026 *No classes the week of 4th of july
Ages 3-5​
Music Explorers is a fun, hands-on class where little ones can sing, dance, move, play instruments, and discover the joy of music in a relaxed and encouraging environment! Through playful activities and musical games, children will build confidence, creativity, rhythm, and listening skills while exploring a veriety of sounds and instruments. By the end of the class, your child will have a great introduction to music and might have an interest in a specific instrument!

Explorers will:​

Make music together by singing songs, echoing patterns, learning rhythm, and practicing starting and stopping as a group

Explore volume, tempo, and musical contrasts in a fun, age-appropriate way

Try a variety of instruments including piano, ukulele, drums, and voice

Discover which instruments spark their interest

Build early music skills such as keeping a steady beat, copying simple rhythms, matching pitch, and beginning to recognize basic musical symbols

At the end of the session, families will receive a Music Readiness Assessment, which includes:​

A summary of the child’s engagement and musical strengths

Instrument interests observed during class

A personalized recommendation for next steps, which may include:
