We are so proud of our students who participated in this year's summer musical; Cinderella! The summer show was directed by Ms. Elisa and Ms. Charlotte. The actors only had two weeks to learn their music and dances which is an impressive turnaround! The performance was on Saturday, June 24 at 10:00 AM. If you missed it in person, you can watch the entire show on the Academy of Sound YouTube page here. Last year there were only 8 participants and this year there were 18! It was fast, it was fun and we cannot wait for next year's summer musical.

Welcome Our New Drum Teacher!

Academy of Sound welcomes Michael Modaff, drum and percussion teacher!

He was a self-taught drummer for years until he started taking lessons right here at Academy of Sound in 2012! He developed strong drumming skills and a passion for music performance. Michael has been heavily involved in the Oregon School District's music programs such as the Shadow Drum and Bugle Corps.

Read more about Michael here! You can view Michael's lesson openings here. We are so excited to have drums back at Academy of Sound.
